Privacy

This page counts visits and taps so I can tell which platform sends people here and what they are interested in. It is built to work without identifying anyone.

What is collected

• Which link you tapped, and which platform you arrived from.
• Your country, region and city. Never a precise location.
• Device type, browser and operating system.
• A one-way hash of your IP address and browser, used to count you once per day.

What is not collected

• Your IP address. It is hashed on arrival and the raw value is never stored.
• Your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally.
• Coordinates, or any location finer than a city.

The daily hash

The hash uses a secret that changes every 24 hours, and old secrets are deleted. That means today’s visitors cannot be matched to yesterday’s, so the record cannot be used to follow anyone over time.

Cookies

One cookie, named src. It holds a short tag such as ig recording which platform you came from, lasts 30 minutes, and contains no identifier. There are no advertising or third-party cookies, and no third-party scripts on this page.

How long it is kept

Individual events are deleted after 90 days. Only daily totals are kept beyond that, and those cannot be traced back to a visit.
